Finding the real source
Water can travel along rafters before it shows on a ceiling, so the stain isn't always under the leak. We inspect the roof and, where needed, the attic, to trace it back. Fixing the actual source the first time is what keeps you from paying twice.
Older homes: Many homes in Ladue, Clayton and Kirkwood have complex rooflines with dormers, chimneys and multiple valleys. That's where most leaks start, and where careful flashing work matters most.
Repair or replace
If your roof has years left, we'll repair it. If it doesn't, we'll show you why and explain your replacement options.
Common questions
Why does my roof leak only in heavy rain?
Wind-driven rain can push water past flashing at walls and chimneys, or into worn valleys and pipe boots. These are usually repairable.
Can you match my existing shingles?
We'll get as close as possible. Older shingles fade and some lines are discontinued, so a repair may look slightly different at first.
Is it worth repairing an older roof?
If it's near the end of its life and leaking in several places, replacement is often the better value. We'll tell you honestly.
Do you repair slate or tile roofs?
We focus on shingle and stone coated steel roofs. For natural slate or clay tile, we recommend a specialist in those materials.
